The Elder Scrolls 6 will be Xbox Exclusive

Bethesda will probably be ready to show what they did with Elder Scrolls 6 in a few years. But if you believe Jeff Grubb’s latest tweet, the game may be special for Microsoft’s Xbox console. We are talking about a more permanent one, not a temporary one.

Should this come as a surprise? With difficulty. As you may recall, Microsoft has announced that it will buy Bethesda in 2020. This has led to speculation that future Bethesda games will be exclusive to the Xbox platform (and PC), meaning that Microsoft hopes to attract players to the Xbox platform with an exclusive triple A title.

Bethesda’s Pete Hines, earlier this year, revealed that Bethesda’s current project and focus will be exclusive to Starfield for the Xbox. Hines shared that he understood the frustration of non-Xbox players, but there was nothing he could do thinking that was not in Bethesda’s hands.

As we said, there is no information on when Elder Scrolls 6 will go on sale, but so far it seems that Elder Scrolls 5 will be the last game from the franchise available on many platforms.
