Access the Uploaded Files on your phone
You can access any file you upload to your phone in many ways, including a direct download notification or the browser you use, or the file manager application on your phone. Here’s how!
Find out in the notifications
The first and easiest way to find downloaded files on your phone is to check the notification panel. When you download something, your Android phone displays a “Download Completed” or similar notification.
To open the notification panel, swipe down from the home screen. Now tap on this notification and you can easily access this file.
However, if you have deleted notifications or the uploaded file is too old, you need to go to the next method.
Find in Browser Downloads
You download a file using any browser on your phone, and therefore you can get this file from the browser. If you’re using Chrome on your phone, here’s how to access the downloaded files:
1. Open Google Chrome on your phone.
2. Now, tap the three-line menu in the top right corner.
3. Tap “Downloads” from the options.

Find it in the file manager
Every Android phone has some File Manager applications pre-installed. Google Pixel and stock Android phones are “Files” by Google, and Samsung Galaxy phones are “Files”. You can find your downloaded files in the “Downloads” folder in this application.
1. Open the file manager application on your Android phone. Here we use the “File Manager” application.
2. Then, tap the hamburger icon on the top left to open the menu and search for downloads.
3. Or find the “Downloads” option directly on the home screen and tap on it.
Here you will find all your downloaded files in this folder.
Bonus Tip: Use Third Party Apps
You can also install a third-party File Manager application from the Google Play Store. If you want a smaller and feature-rich application, you can use the “Google Files” application. How to find files uploaded in this application:
1. First of all, open the app on your Android device.
2. Go to the “Browse” tab, which opens by default.
3. Now tap on the “Downloads” option here and you will see all your downloaded files.
